So I’ve opted to make full use of the tap & swipe actions on the album cover in order to cut down on the number of buttons present.
I also enjoy a nice Healthy sized album art. I had a bit of fun with the bottom most text. I’ve set a custom message when the last song in a queue is currently playing, (not pictured) but it makes me laugh anytime i see it so a big thanks from me for that.
Excluding the bottom most text all the strings are clickable which is a nice use of the screen real-estate (i swipe up for my queue so i didnt feel the need to make the up next area clickable)
Still workshoping it a bit & brainstorming a few ideas but I like where this is headed
Loving these Now Playing customization features - here’s where I ended up after playing with it yesterday. Decided to go buttonless - single tap toggles pause/play, double tap restarts the song, and swipe changes tracks.
After a healthy amount of help from @Tolriq & some inspiration from @darkwiiingduck & @Vix I’ve made a few changes since my last entry. Not sure if it’s done yet but I like the improvements.
I’ve still kept to utilizing the strings & album art as my main hyperlinks to various app views.
Utilizing the new string templates & spacing options I added a mini rating bar under the album art. An idea I got from VIX
I also opted to use the “top bar” at the bottom to better house the info I had at the bottom of my last entry
Both of these changes were in hopes of getting a cleaner look like darkwiiingduck’s TidaL While also getting a bit more functionality / info on screen.
Thanks to the dev and @mista_j I’ve been able to build the now playing bar I’ve wanted (for a lonnnnng time btw). The new string templates also gave me the idea to cure my OCD and add icons to the left of my track title to show favourite state.
Sorry, didn’t know if I should bug you again today lol. & @darkwiiingduck NICE!! looks super clean!
I usually browse Unicode - Compart when looking for various random icons to use. might give them a shot.
