Its another Android Auto Radio Mix request (with Audiomuse)

Feature description:

Yes I know apps have no influence of AA gui.

But, has anything changed in your opinion which you left here:

Starting a radio mix from the now playing screen is possible but it defaults to standard mix.

I would appreciate a way to start a sonic analysis based smart flow radio mix from this screen isntead. For example “steady vibes“ from current track.

Problem solved:

Starting a sonic analysis based radio mix is only possible through interaction with the phone while driving.

Brought benefits:

Safer driving  The radio button is already there, can you let users choose the default action?

Seconded. Not having a way to safely start a mix from a track without interacting with my phone is a bit frustrating, as for my use case it feels like it defeats the purpose of the AA interface. On the go I usually listen by liking a song or artist mix as I can’t be constantly fiddling with the UI to keep up a queue of songs/albums during my commute. Had to resort to starting a mix before I leave but if I change my mind part way through my commute, it becomes a hassle to switch to a different mix.

Somewhat related, and I can start a new thread if needed, but is more of the app functionality available based on having a larger AA screen size? I have a standard 2 din modern AA capable head unit and I find myself looking for UI elements that I expect to be there. Aside from no radio/mix button (even something in the 3 dots menu would be fine), I can favorite songs but not artists, and there’s no way to get to an artist/album page from a now playing song.

I’m familiar with app development, but I know little of AA. If it’s possible, I would be very grateful and excited for better AA feature parity. Love the app!

I wish this might be changed.

There is no “safe” way to start sonic-analyzed radio mix on Android Auto as for now.

That would be a gamechanger, at least for me!
