The widget seems to default to “Nothing is playing” versus keeping the cover art and player buttons available. Don’t know that this is a bug. It might simply be a setting I can’t figure out. Any help would be appreciated
Well, yes, nothing is playing, so maybe this is more of a feature request and can be moved to the appropriate section of the forum. Every other media player I have tried has the art and player buttons visible at all times, so that starting the app from the widget is simply one tap. Symfomium sometimes has that functionality but often reads as the photo above from telrod11
So maybe this is more of a request then. The ability to see the art and the player buttons consistently would take your everything -ive-ever-wanted-in-a-media-player 5 star app to 6 stars. For clarity, one of the things I love is that multiple queues can be accessed, so the queue is never empty in my case. There’s never “no queue”
If there’s no active queue then there’s nothing to display as no way for the app to guess what you want to play.
There’s plenty of shortcuts to show the queue list or start playback / playlists if wanted.
I think what he’s experiencing is the screenshot that I sent.
You’ll see that widget go blank, even when you have a song in the queue, paused. If we don’t have an active queue, I see that it should be blank, but not when you have an active queue, and a song paused.
Precisely what telrod is saying. The song is in the queue. It’s active, but the widget is blank. I’ve tried to upload the logs, but apparently to no avail. Honestly, kind of makes sense since you have to open the app in order to send the log. I’ll try one more time.
Also, I have already paid in full and don’t appreciate the insinuation. Your only negative reviews on a truly remarkable app are for your attitude. Think how much higher a little respect would drive you.
Telrod, maybe you could try to send a log since you are seeing the same thing?
In those logs the 27th June, the phone date is changed to 6th June, and each time you start the app you press restore license with no Internet access to bypass the check until the grace period would have triggered …
Maybe you purchased after the 27th June. But your trial ended the 17th and you did that for at least 10 days.
So instead of being aggressive and trying to invert the roles why not just accept that you did that, and that it’s not insinuation it’s just facts …
And as you can see, I just ignore that and still try to help
Brother, I don’t have the foggiest notion what you are saying nor do I have any idea how to do what you are suggesting I’ve done. I purchased June 6, not even fulfilling the full trial period because I was impressed by the app. I give up. I just won’t use the widget. Maybe telrod can upload an acceptable log but I’m done being bullied.
OK, not trying to cause issues here, just trying to report back, as beta testers, what we see. I’ll totally accept if you see what we are doing wrong here.
I played a portion of a song this morning, then just let the app be. I did NOT turn on debug until I saw the widget go blank, so it may have totally missed what you need to see.
How big would that debug log get if I just turn it on and let it run for a day to try and catch this?
Would that be the how we should try and catch it?
