Hi guys, I was reading the thread looking for information on bit perfect and saw that many of you use UAPP, I had serious distortion problems with it and I suggest that those who use it, do a test with the tracks below:
“Assuming your system is actually capable of full 96kHz playback, the above files should be completely silent with no audible noises, tones, whistles, clicks, or other sounds. If you hear anything, your system has a nonlinearity causing audible intermodulation of the ultrasonics. Be careful when increasing volume; running into digital or analog clipping, even soft clipping, will suddenly cause loud intermodulation tones”

In any case, I don’t fully agree with the article because I can hear subtle differences between different quality files, especially from 16 to 24 bits, and I DON’T WANT to raise this kind of discussion here, please. But the tests (at least for me) are relevant.
Kind Regards.
