Whenever I check the unsynchronized lyrics of a song, none of the lines are highlighted. If I enable the option to show timestamps, each line has a timestamp of [00:00] (which I didn’t put manually). This started happening after the latest update, 13.6.0a.
(note: in the uploaded logs I switched from my local Jellyfin server to OneDrive, and I checked that it happens on both.)

I set the lyrics settings to default and restarted the app and my phone multiple times, but that didn’t work so far.

Play any song from a Jellyfin or OneDrive provider
I wasn’t able to find a file in any of my media folders with actual synchronized lyrics for testing, apologies. I uploaded three files under the following description:

“01 - 01 - Two Bites of Cherry.flac” has both the UNSYNCEDLYRICS and LYRICS tags (with no timestamps).
“01 - 07 - Bellyeye.flac” just has a LYRICS tag, with no timestamps.
“02 - Symphony of Destruction.mp3” has an UNSYNCEDLYRICS tag with a different format compared to the first file.
I just updated to 13.6.5 and I’m sorry to report that I’m still having this exact issue.
The first track I played after updating displayed the unsynced lyrics properly, but all subsequent tracks are treated as synced lyrics, instantly jumping to the last line and all previous lines greyed out. This is the case for new plays of the track that worked fine initially as well.
I’ve force closed the app and restarted my phone, but the issue persists.
