The sound is intermittent

Issue description:

I found sound intermittent several days ago when playing some audios over LAN. I thought it was the slow buffering.
Today, same phenomenon happens when playing buffered audios. So I made some tests.

Audios:
Track 1. MPEG 320kbps
Track 2. FLAC 613kbps

Test cases and results:

  1. Play buffered audios with Symfonium. (intermittent)

  2. Play the audios with Jellyfin app. (not intermittent)

  3. Download the audios to my Android device. Import them to Symfonium as local provider and play them. (intermittent)

  4. Play the downloaded audios with other music players, such as built-in player by device manufacturer,Netease Music and MX Player. (not intermittent)

Maybe the audio decoder works inappropriately.

Yes I’ll need both as there’s nothing obvious in the logs.

Actually no, you have enabled the skip silence settings that skip silences

Uncheck the option.

It works to uncheck skip silence option. What this function for? Just curious.

It’s in the name  Mostly for audio books.

Where is this option?

Three dots on the now playing screen.

Oh thanks. Mine is off but I’ve still been experiencing this issue sometimes.

Then open an issue with logs and details
