Just left the beta to update my review and also asked my sister and her boyfriend to update theirs as well. Keep up the great work!
Thanks but you’ll join again as you are addicted:p and the review will be removed.
How depressing. I thought being in the beta only prevented me from editing an existing review, not that it actually removed it upon rejoining. What a stupid solution. Classic Google.
I had already rejoined before posting…
Does the review stick, if you come back in the beta??
T-
I did give you a big attaboy on reddit in the androidapps sub.
(I believe you saw that)
I don’t post most of them but as a reminder to all those who read this.
Contact the f…g dev as you would do in real life …
No one can help you from a bad rating, it’s like tagging the wall of the mall where you purchased your TV from a small shop inside. Sounds crazy to do that right ? And yet here we are …
So close, so let’s kill the app and the dev instead of fixing the tags …
For sure folder works well to handle multiple album artists and track artists and composers
Funny, “this one HAS to use metadata”, like that is something bad.
Even better now
So after all everything works another app broke the tags, but let’s keep trying to hurt the good app for not being able to magically ignore the invalid data generated by a third app …
Seriously what’s wrong with people …
Is this full moon ? I can’t find the option to keep shuffle, and can’t contact the dev, so I kill the app because in the list of songs ot dares to show the year …
Well no she’s just a POS …
The dev dare to remind me that I should contact him and dare to give the solution, OMG this is not possible, let try to be even worse than before, because I’m Karen the justice and people must say amen when I treat them like shit …
And let’s use another account to leave another bad rating and break Play Store TOS because, really the dev should have said thanks when I assaulted him.
So it’s definitely full moon and all the crazy people are out …
I really wonder why I bother offering support and publishing on the platform were people don’t pay and have 0 respect. Internet really made people disrespectful dumb.
Well I would gladly help if you CONTACTED me …
Unfortunately as 90% of the people you did not get my answer on Play Store and so will never contact me …
Ha the infamous NAS provider Aka I have no idea what I’m doing but it’s easier to bad rate than read the doc or contact the dev …
Google can suck my toes. I just went through all the effort of leaving the beta program in order to leave a well deserved 5 star review, and now the review doesn’t even show up.
Also lmao at the guy complaining about Symfonium not being for audiophiles while he’s using Jetaudio and having all his music mangled to 48KHz by the Android OS and doesn’t even realize it. smh. Dude wouldn’t know an audiophile if he was slapped in the face by a full-range speaker. Symfonium is one of the VERY FEW apps on Android that does playback the original sample rate of files.
For posterity… the text of my attempted review (did get truncated to 500 characters obviously tho)
Absolutely fantastic app. I run Symfonium on a dedicated portable audio player device (iBasso DX180) and Symfonium makes the device. I love that I can have all my music on a server at home, use Symfonium on the DX180 and have my entire library available anywhere in the world where I have a wifi connection. The best part tho, is how Symfonium will automatically cache every album I play locally to the device, meaning that when I do not have wifi access, I have a device full of all the music that I’ve been listening to recently (512GB SD card full) without needing to put any effort into choosing what to load onto the device. Obviously, I can also manually cache anything I want as well with all of 2 taps in the UI. Symfonium truly makes the experience of having a dedicated portable audio player a top-tier experience. It also supports high-res playback, so you’re not stuck with Android resampling everything to 48KHz.
This app is worth so much more than $5, I can’t believe so many people are complaining about it not being free. I would easily pay $50 for it and no complain one bit.
Hopefully it does show up at some point
The biggest issue with social media & the internet in general is that there’s no risk of people getting punched in the mouth when they say dumb shit. You just need to open any comment thread on facebook or instagram for this to be painfully obvious.
@Ben1424 my understanding is that your review gets removed if you join the beta program again.
Such a BS policy. You would think that folks who join the beta program would have a more valuable review than those who download it, remove it, then leave a 1 star review because it’s not free
@Ben1424 xD
Well you are in the beta program because you like the app → you are biased → you should be barred from leaving a review because you are biased
I completely disagree. Being in the beta program isn’t anything special, I don’t have any vested interest in the app and I wasn’t selected by the developer to be in the beta program. I, however, am someone who has extensively used the app and care enough to join the beta program and therefore would have a more meaningful opinion than “iTs NOt FrEE wAhhHH Im A BiG BaBY”
I also think that users who have had the app installed longer should have heavier weighted reviews than new users.
We need to stop pretending that the opinions of idiots are just as valid as everyone else’s. Tho at this point, I may not be talking about the Play Store anymore…
If I left a review & then joined the beta program does my review or its weight change at all?
