The joy of Play Store :)

How many times do I need to edit my review to counter one of those idiotic 1 star review bone heads?

This is even worse than you think, here’s a mail he sent but left the bad rating of course … People are just incredible…

And you can’t counter those by yourself it requires a lot of 5 star. You just need to update your ratings from time to time so that they count a little more over time and so reduce their impacts.

Some people are just so out of touch with how much time goes into development of any piece of software. I think it has to do with lack of knowledge. I bet those same people will pay a one off for a burger or a pack of cigs, but, wont pay a small fee to a devloper for lifetime access to literally the best music client for android. I will never get it.

Ill keep editing a few times a week until the reviews hit 5* on Play store

They are free to not want to pay, but killing the app for that is just completely selfish and stupid.

I can’t afford Ferrari cars but I won’t burn their shops …

And no need to edit your rating every days  Just after every couple of releases is more than enough.

That is very true. Unfortunately, people will do things behind keyboard which they would not do in everyday life much easier.

I have a problem with my car, let’s burn the shop and throw away the car instead of going to the car mechanic as a normal person …

Funny how you can guess what kind of people write those reviews. Welcome to Wonderland where everything works by magic all the time for the busy people who changed a setting and can’t remember what …

Well we have gone full circle the return of the original MF inspiring this thread

I don’t think that the people are really angry about the price. It is more that the price is “hidden” in the sense that it isn’t in your face on the playstore. Read the 1 star ratings for spotify and you will also find people that are mad that it isn’t free. There will always be people who want it for free.

The price is shown by Play Store and the fact that it’s paid is the second sentence of description. People just don’t read.

But that user is a special case, see first post here  He’s a user, he paid, but when I asked in the changelog for 5 star ratings to counter the 1 star saying it’s paid, he wrote the bad rating just to piss me off. The kind of huge piece of shit Internet now brings

And now he show the world how dumb he is with some addition to his bad rating, showing it’s inability to actual explain what those mysterious issues are

Its pretty obvious I would say. Every app that requires a “payment” literally has it stamped underneath the title saying something along the lines of “In App Purchases”.

I have to laugh at these reviews, I am literally perplexed at what “Bugs” or “Glitches” “my dudes” do be talking about. Maybe time for a brain transplant…

I wonder where I should note the fact that it’s paid ?

Hum maybe the app description?
Or maybe the first screen of the app?
Or in big at the top of the settings ?

Or maybe all of that ?

I didn’t know this was a thing. I shall leave beta so my 5 stars count.

Well I warn everywhere

But most importantly it’s not directly a paid app to give users a proper 15 days trial, something Google still does not allow with paid apps …

All for users and yet …
