Feature description:
Symphonic already pulls Album User Rating from Plex. It however doesn’t allow to set Album User Rating.
This would complete the feature request: Add option for star rating songs/full albums
Album rating should support the same 0 to 5 with half stars setting.
To minimise efforts and implications to GUI it could be implemented as an additional “action - change album user rating”.
Problem solved:
I target to have all my music media server track and album rated as I then further utilise user star based playlists. I frequently add new albums to my media server which are picked up by a smart album playlist showing unrated albums.
After picking an album from the unrated album list I rate song by song and then rate the full album to indicate it has been rated.
Without this feature I need to open another app (Plexamp) just for a single album rating action.
Brought benefits:
Complete user rating possibilities on album level.
This will benefit requests from Plex users but also Lightweight Music Server (and likely others?).
