Ok, just let me know when it is available.
Pushed 0.9.11a will be available quickly
Already there. New logs for “Remove from offline cache”: 20220403_171500
Do you want to see anything else?
Well keep the logs on and try again without triggering a sync with Kodi. Then again later, seems a cleanup never ends or is really really slow and block the other actions.
I don’t really understand. I enabled logs again now and leave them on. I again pressed “remove from offline cache”, but nothing changes.
Now what should I do? Logs are still on.
Ah no - no it seems it worked!
Yes, now it worked. The files got removed. I also removed an other album, worked as well. Then I added both again, and the files got downloaded as intended. I can play the “broken” album again now.
I’ll need those logs to see if there’s something to explain the slowness then.
There you go: 20220403_183632
Should I leave logs still on?
No need. I’ll see what I can optimize then ask for a sync then try with logs to see if there’s improvements.
Forget but can you provide logs with 0.9.12 and a full sync + 2 minutes so I see the improvements or not ? ![]()
Do I have to make a change in the Kodi lib before, or simply hit “sync” in Symfonium without changes?
0.9.12 still isn’t available for me, I am checking for updates in the playstore like crazy since I read the announcement yesterday evening ![]()
Arf so they decided that they need to review the internal alpha track too …
All that because the review team from Android Auto is a bunch of stupid inapt people unable to test an application … Support Android Auto / Wear OS is always such a pain with them …
0.9.12 is still not available.
Btw., now the auto offline cache feature does not seem to work anymore in my 0.9.11a. I have to manually trigger caching for new albums. But I will wait for 0.9.12 to play the whole thing through.
It will be long before it’s published, Google incredibly stupid validation team is just a bunch of incapable people that yet have infinite power over devs.
To resume they seem to be using the same devices for testing each releases, so now that their trial is expired, they are unable to click the purchase button and reject the application because it does not work on Android Auto.
No shit you don’t purchase, don’t configure and it does not work, that’s a surprise …
So what again should I log to test this? Hit “sync” and wait for two minutes after the sync, or does it need actual changes in the lib?
Edit: Logs for sync only (no change) - 20220415_230302
It was enough and it’s still not fast enough ![]()
When you have time I’ll need some logs that include a sync and a lot longer after like 2 hours maybe to be sure to have all durations.
Do I have to interact with Symfonium through the two hours or have some music playing so it does not get killed in the background?
Having some music could help yes, but as said this is not very urgent, this will just serve as a decision to auto cleanup or not after syncs or leave it to a manual user action if too slow.
Two hours worth of logs: 20220416_163915
Btw, at the end when I hit stop, an empty NP screen remained until I hit stop again. I am not sure if you can see that in the logs? I observed that for some time now, seems only to occur on UPnP playback. I think someone else reported something similar on Plex or so?
