Feature description
Extend the existing profiles feature to allow users to save profiles for the playback settings.
Problem solved
It would let users switch playback functionality easily by switching profiles. Currently the profiles only support the interface settings so if someone has profiles for music and podcasts / audiobooks there is no way to have it automatically switch playback functionality to suit those profiles’ needs.
Brought benefits
It would make it possible for example for the headphone buttons to function differently depending on profiles. If you switched between a music and audiobook profile the headphone buttons could switch their functionality between skipping entire songs and skipping forwards / backwards x amount of seconds without having to manually change it in the settings. This would be my main personal use case but I’m sure it would unlock many other benefits.
