Hi, would it be possible to add the occasion metatag to smart filter. I use Musicbee on my pc to organise my music and the occasion tag is just as useful as the (already present) mood tag.

I’m not particularly knowledgable about this but the occasion tag is just another tag like mood, genre etc. as far as I know. It’s present in Musicbee and Media Monkey. Handy for creating smart playlists for activities.
I need to know the actual tag and it’s official purpose of documented.
Upload a song tagged to https://upload.symfonium.app but you can also use track tags to achieve that.
I’ve just uploaded track with the mood and occasion tags set. MP3Tag shows them both. I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean by using track tags.

Thank you for the link. So, if I can get MusicBee to copy the Occasion tag to another tag (such as Comment) then I could use that in Symfonium smart lists?
Yes, or another one like the track tags .
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like MusicBee gives access to the track tags so I’ll have to use something else.
If the tags are written to the files & not just stored in musicbee then you can use mp3tag to copy your Occasion tags to a custom field Track_Tags which youll need to create in mp3tag.
Then in Symfonium Track Tags would house your Occasion Tags

You could of course also copy the Occasion tags to the Comments tag of you so choose. I think plaving them in Track_tags would give you a bit more flexibility in Symfonium though
