Feature description:
Some form of control over the (vertical) scale of the Queue and Lyric blocks in the landscape NPS.
Problem solved:
Currently the landscape blocks evenly divide the vertical screen space for that side… Minus the portions taken by Top/Bottom bars.
Any usage of Top/Bottom bars is limited because they detract from the fixed portions of screen space already available.
Brought benefits:
More varied/asymmetric layout possibilities.
Ability to use Top/Bottom bars outside of Controls panel without shrinking the Cover art
Fine tuning of *amount *of information shown (e.g. show fewer queue items to leave room for other blocks)
Other application solutions:
Additional description and context:
Working on my tablet/foldable layout now and this is the main thing that I feel is lacking.
Pic 1: slightly exaggerated example.
Goal would be to shrink the Queue block so that the Cover Art can fill the full width, rather than the other way around
Similar with lyrics: I’d like more vertical space for the Controls & Info but I’m capped to 50% height. It’s a lot of screen space used for a lyric block when not all songs may even have lyrics available.
