I’m curious how the new song rating works. I use Emby and as far as I can tell there is no metadata for a star rating available in Emby, however, If I rate a song in Symfonium it remembers this rating and is usable in smart filters. Is this user rating in symfonium being stored locally on the device?
Yes for providers that do not support user ratings, the ratings are local and preserved during syncs. (Emyb/Jellyfin and Local devices mainly)
I still need to add some kind of backup solution. (Ratings can be displayed in list too in the settings if wanted)

That is awesome thank you! Yes a backup feature would be really nice just in case. I really wish Emby would just support ratings for music natively and then it would be almost perfect for how I want to use.
