Great that this has chromecast support but I noticed the skip and rewind buttons don’t work and are greyed out. This also means I can’t tell google assistant to skip a song, etc.
Would great to get this fixed. Thanks

The buttons inside the application are enabled / disabled depending on your queue.
Google assistant should work on your phone, on a Google home it can’t since the queue is only managed on the application to be able to migrate between players.
Please describe better your issue.
Hi yes sorry, I realized I was not specific enough. Everything works fine in the Symfonium app.
My issue is with google home, or the google home app.

I was able to test and confirm this. This is unfortunate since it would be real nice to tell google home to skip while it’s being casted to. Sounds like this is not possible with the current implementation. I assume this cannot be fixed then?
Not really, the Google API for playlist is limited and Symfonium can queue 300 000 songs via smart playlist. Would be a pain to keep in sync only small part of the queue there.
With that said, I’ll check again if they improved the API recently maybe I can just keep in sync the previous and next one.
Next version will have an ugly hack allow the skip next from Google home (including voice command) to work when casting from Symfonium.
While not complete playlist handling that can’t be done, being able to quickly skip a not liked song is still a nice to have.
Sweet. That’s all I really wanted. Thanks
