Getting the program to find my music on the SD Card

Issue description:

I have been unsuccessful in getting the program to find the music on my 2TB microSD card - 149,000 songs. It only finds 2 songs I have on the phone’s internal memory.

You are supposed to tell the app where the songs are.

Just select the folders when adding the provider.

I added the folder in the SD card to the program and it sync’d. But it still does not show the music in the folder. I have been using jetAudio+ and wanted to try this program out.

I can only see what you show me …

Is the sync still running ? What does the app shows, what are you trying to do ?

Thanks for getting back with me. My goal is to use the program. With the exception of 1 ringtone & 1 text tone, all my music is on a 2TB MicroSD card - 149000+ MP3 files.

I pointed the program to the SD card file and it took 12 hours to sync. The syncing ended 2 days ago. The program does not display the SD card music. It only plays the 2 files on the phone. I have restarted the phone just to ensure it has a chance to rescan for the music.

I have a Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

I’m just looking for instructions.
Do I uninstall and re-install the program?

Do you have a “getting started guide” I missed?

Thanks again.

You probably enabled some filters Globally filter displayed data (Media providers, libraries, only offline media, ...)

Again I can only see what you show, your logs where empty and you don’t show any screenshot or anything to be able to tell more.

I have attached some screenshots. Let me know if you need anything else.

Show screenshot of actual useful stuff like the filters I just linked you and the library part where the media are missing ?

Well, I showed you the folder where the music is and where I told the program is the music.

While I appreciate your help, customer service is not your strong suit.

Again I can only see what you show me, and the price of the app does not include me asking multiple times the same things, that’s why there’s a wizard for the support that explains how to be efficient.

So your last message ignoring my request and complaining that I once again need to ask for the same thing is kinda misplaced…

So again show relevant details … Your filters, the actual library view where the media are supposedly missing, the result of the sync manager…

I re-installed the program and it found my music.

Is it possible to have the player shuffle thru all my 149000 songs? I attached a file and it only shows 10000 (orange box) song, though I know it saw all of my mp3s.

Personal mixes will ensure fresh content, or you can use smart playlist but not there’s no one click queue 150000 songs button as it would be too resources intensive with the multi queues and everything.

Thanks for the info. I thought it would be simple to shuffle my MP3 database. Guess I was wrong.

There is

There’s just no point of preparing a queue that takes 8 years to play as your phone won’t last that duration …

According to iTunes the 149084 songs I have uploaded total length is 413 days (1 year, 48 days), 10 hours, 56 minutes and 28 seconds.

If you read this far, I am very impressed with the music play, FWIW. My other player, jetaudio+ can shuffle the database with a push of the shuffle button should you ever want to add this feature. The program is troublesome when I switch from Landscape to Portrait.

Thanks for the help.

As I said you can use the mix and it will ensure freshness each time.. and will play all your songs.

You do not listen music 24 hours per day so the actual duration if you listen to 8h per day (every day) is 3 years, with a more normal medium play of 4 hours every single day it’s 6 years

Thanks for your information on the program. I do like to see the count as I play (1, 2, 3, etc) But I would prefer the entire library count when I play the music instead of 30000. Personal preference.

However, customer service is not your strong suit.

Yes you already said that

But again you do not pay for special customer service, so you are supposed to follow the rules on the place you ask for support

I should just ignore people who don’t, but well I still try to help
