Changes that are dynamic to the smart playlist do not automatically change the queue

Again, please be patient with me. This may not be an issue at all…
I made a change to the playlist from last played 168 days to last played 167 days with a play count of one .
The q played the last two songs that were left in the 168 count and did not dynamically refresh to show the change in that smart playlist.
Again, this may be inherently how the app works, but the challenge I have seen is using a smart playlist as I am with last played and play count ,my queues do not refresh as the day count continues to increment.
Again, I apologize if this is how the app works and is not a problem.
I can always create new queues to get around this issue.
Thanks for your time and your app
Reproduction steps:
This may or may not be an issue, but I wanted to bring it to your attention if it is.
In the logs that I have uploaded. I have a smart playlist that uses day’s last played and play count.
I start this queue and it works just as it should.
However, if I make a change to that smart list, it will not automatically refresh the queue to play those songs.
Apologies, my use case may be a one off, and not something you would consider, but what I’d like to see is if my queue is set to a “Last Played” of X days, could that queue be dynamically changed with a DB refresh, when more songs get auto added to the Smart Playlist?
e.g.
I have a test smart playlist now that has the criteria Play Count=1, and Last Played>165 days.
This morning, that playlist has 7 songs, but as the day progresses, it will increase, as the Last Played criteria changes.
Would that be something you’d consider?
It wouldn’t need to be “live” and dynamic, but included when a DB sync was run, just to query that Playlist, and add songs to the existing queue.
If this is in the realm of possibility, and something you’d consider, I’ll be happy to make a feature request to your (sarcasm) small to do list.
I certainly don’t want to tick you off, so with all due respect, may I ask your advice on how best to manage this then?
If changes to the Smart playlists don’t dynamically change the queue that is based upon that playlist, is it just a manual process each time I’d like that queue to reflect the songs added to that smart playlist?
I guess I could use tasker to kill that queue each night, and restart it with a new queue, but am wondering if there is a better way?
Love the app and I do appreciate all the love and effort you have put in it.
There is no automatic queue update, so there is no other way than to manually restart the playlist (or use external tools like Tasker). That is how the queue works. Don’t think of the queue as being connected to the playlist. The queue is created when you hit play, and from then on exists independently.
