I got a “this beta version has expired” screen and I can’t move on from it. This is version 14.1.1. Clicking on update application only takes me to the play store where the new update hasn’t shown up yet.

I just opened the app this evening and got the screen, I’ve never gotten it before.
I would also like to add that I am having the same issue as well. Both playstore and Aurora Store are not saying there is an update… I think devs missed the update window on this one as there is a change log for version 15 Beta 1. I think that we were supposed to get an update to that one.
I’m having the same issue. I tried leaving the beta, but was still unable to update. I completely uninstalled the app and am now unable to reinstall it. Aurora store keeps saying the apk is invalid or corrupted, and Google play store simply says it is unable to install it.
Edit: exporting the apk also results in “App not installed” dialog.
Went for a drive before, tried to load Symfonium as usual and it says the beta has expired and I need to update, but there’s no update
Was thinking of reverting back to stable, but I remember it being a pain to sign up to the beta in the past because it was always full.
Also, looking at the repsonses it seems switching to stable doesn’t restore settings properly, which would be a massive PITA
Got a long train journey tonight and was hoping to listen to my tunes from my Navidrome server, I guess I’ll have to use the Navidrome front end for now.
Maybe now is good time to hint at @Tolriq to consider a move away from play store I get the convenience of it, and, tbh I have no easy solution for you in regards to license transfers etc, but, having to wait 3+ days after a new version announcement is getting kind of tiring, and, I say that mainly because Im so super excited each time you announce a new update. This today is maybe final straw that broke the camels back in terms of Google play loyalty for me.
For me, since my media server of choice is Jellyfin… I have to go back (for now) to Finamp… it is not as classy or has gapless playback. but It will do…
Anyway I get that Google is standing in the way of releases, but… why have beta releases that expire after some time anyway? I don’t get it… Just let the user update whenever they want… is there some specific technical reason to use such a practice?
I think it is going to become difficult to navigate away from G-Play, considdering that they are going to enforce developer verification come September. (it is a long rant, but basically to boil it down. Come September. ALL apps on all certified android devices will only be allowed to have installed apps that Google allows, and Google will only allow apps to be installed from developers that have undergone ID verification and paid a fee to google. There is a lot more nuance but that is a very rough breakdown of it)
