Battry Drain

Issue description:

Hi, I updated my pixel 7 with the latest google pixel feature drop for December 2024 and ever since I have experienced a significant battery drain while using Symfonium. I looked at a couple of threads in the forum and followed the advice suggested there but with no luck.

These are the threads I read up on:

Substantial battery drain while idle

I have two bug reports – one where the phone lost ~80% battery in ~6 hours while listening to music on an airplane (symfonium debug was off in a vain effort to try to keep the phone alive until I landed), and another with ~60% battery drain in ~8 hours with general usage and a small amount of music playing (symfonium debug on). However, it doesn’t seem like this forum will let me upload it – how should/can I submit them? [image] [image]

Battery drain

Issue description: Basically the app is consuming 44% of the battery since the last charge. Screen time was 8 mins. And I’ve used it to play probably 30’ of music How can k fix this? Battery drain with pixel 6A

Issue description: I notice when I am playing music my phone gets really warm and the battery rapidly decreases. In the app usage the overwhelmingly bulk of it is from symfonium. Just curious if it is something in the logs that point to an underlying problem or not. While playing music with the screen on or off and while the phone is just idling the is a significant battery drain.

You have a sync running in those logs, so yes that takes a little battery.

Thank you, I will run a debug for a couple of hours without a sync in progress.

I uploaded an new log (ralpheeee bat ) as a reference. I am not a 100% sure but i think I identified the app which was causing the battery drain and i will continue to monitor.

So is it Symfonium and does it happen in those logs ?
