I’d like to be able to see from the now playing screen where audio will play. For example, whether it will be the phones built-in speakers or my bluetooth headphones
Problem solved:
When I’m playing music at work, sometimes there’s a delay in connecting my headphones before the audio device switches to them, and I accidentally press play too soon and music plays via my speakers for a few seconds. If there was an indicator, I could wait till it shows the bluetooth icon before pressing play
Brought benefits:
Confirmation you aren’t playing on the wrong device, e.g. maybe you forgot to disconnect from the bluetooth speaker in another room, or share headphones which allow multiple devices and you don’t want to override the other persons music, or maybe for phones with a headphone jack you might not have plugged in all the way. I know someone with hearing aids that can also be used as bluetooth headphones, and sometimes they ask if their music is playing through the phone speaker, since it’s hard for them to tell. Having an indicator on the now playing screen would solve all those
Yeah, I’d want it to have whatever delay the system has, so it’d accurately reflect which device audio output would go to. It looks like the equalizer profiler will do it so I’ll give that a try, but I was hoping for an icon that could go next to the sound bar or in the top/bottom bar
The other problem with the eq profiler is I have to make a profile for each bt device. But, it does work pretty well as the top bar title text so I’m happy as-is. Thanks!
