Here’s my theme config, hope you like it 
to get the output device to show in the top bar, you have to set up equalizer profiles linked to each output device (see Audio output device indication - #7 by ULJgN for instructions), also affected by Allow album art drop shadow to extend to left and right in horizontal mode

Lately I’ve been running this but with the control button bar hidden, and I reduced the horizontal margin of the cover art to 0

Art gestures: tap to play/pause, double tap to like, swipe to skip/previous song, long press to add to playlist
without the control buttons visible, you can use the elapsed time to the left of the progress bar to tell if it’s paused
