Album not correctly displaying (jellyfin)

Issue description:

Hello! I am having a minor issue in regards to albums not displaying correctly if it is playing from a remote server (jellyfin) I found this post from 2022 that shows this as well:

Track metadata is not updated on Bluetooth devices that support metadata when song ends

Issue description: When connected to a Bluetooth device that displays the metadata of the currently playing song, metadata does not update when a new song starts (either by the previous song ending, or tapping the “next” button). The metadata is displayed correctly within the app itself, the issue is only with the metadata over Bluetooth. If I select a new song (by tapping on its name), the metadata is updated. Locally playing the same file works as intended, and the server is fully up to date and is fully synced. Attached are screenshots of the two files compared from 1: local and 2: jellyfin

These are the current specs of the device used:
Symphonium 13.2.0 (google play)
Android 15
Sm-A146u (Galaxy A14 5G)

Playing these files from the official jellyfin app shows album information correctly.

Your log is empty, if there’s metadata display from Jellyfin then I need a log containing the sync from Jellyfin to see what they send.

Jellyfin does not return an album for that song, and does not return an album at all with that name anywhere.

Thank you for the response! I presume there must be a problem with how jellyfin is handling the request, considering the native jellyfin app as well as other media players can parse the albums? Not sure what I could do to resolve.

They return an album name but never the actual album.

Are you sure there’s an album visible that contains that song ?

Yep! I have it shown in the attached.

The upload isn’t working however I doubled checked and yes it does have an album when viewed in the native jellyfin app

The question is not if it displays an album title, but if there’s an actual album in the album view.

Oh my goodness god thank you I realized the albums are active but they aren’t showing the right way in jellyfin.

Thank you! Problem solved! I’ll probably have to organize the music folders in a different approach now.
