Add audio channels delays

Feature description:

In car hifi audio channels delays are used to compensate driver position not centered between the speakers.

A very good addition missing in every other app, would be to add left/right delays expressed in cm/inches/milliseconds.

As a side note, it would also be nice to have different eq settings between L and R.

Thanks in advance and merry Christmas!

Problem solved:

As an audiophile I would appreciate it so much anyway because stock car entertainment systems usually don’t have this possibility at all (I’m using android auto with pcm).

Brought benefits:

Setting audio delays would help to better rebuild the audio front stage of stereo recordings in situations where the listening point can’t be centered between speakers (usually cars)

Known that audio delays should be applied on speaker and not audio channels, user may should be warned that spatial result will be just coarse in case of 2 or more ways separate speakers per channel (but anyway better than no delays).

Other application solutions:

No other app found doing this, only external dsps or high end car systems.

Additional description and context:

Audio delays are helpful in every car system where the driver wants a better sound stage fidelity like centered voices and instruments separation.

I have a non-expensive car with stock built-in hifi and my car provides settings to position the audio between front and back as well as middle or driver position. I am not sure if this is done via delay or volume only. But this kind of setting belongs to the device, not the player, because it should apply to all playback on the device.

For sure there are many car devices out there that do not have such a function…

My '23 toyota prius does the positioning via volume levels but no delays are applied.
Symfonium con only do it in the player side, enabling on disabling it based on the output device would even be better but honestly I can live by manually doing it like for binaural virtual speakers and when not using headphones.

Sorry but no plans for that, this is way too specific need.
