Ability to set a Fixed Contstant Sample Rate/Bit Depth output

Feature description

The ability to set a constant fixed bit depth and sample rate output instead of relying on file native.

Problem solved

Potentially a work around for an issue I raised ( Sweet fades audio drop/stutter during hi res track transitions )

Brought benefits

A higher output sample rate/bit depth than the audio files native can actually have really good quality benefits if your audio hardware supports it, especially for lossless audio formats. I personally find listening to a 16 bit (44.1 or 48KHZ) track at 24 bit reveals more detail because of the higher audio bandwidth.

Other application solutions

USB audio player actually has this function as does several other apps ive jumped between

So much wrong things in this sentence that I can’t ignore :frowning:
Bit depth have 0 relation to bandwidth only sample rate matter.
And no you can’t reveal more details that does not exist, when you upscale something you invent some missing data it’s not real data that are magically found.

Its not about creating more detail, its revealing detail that’s harder to hear. I was not suggesting in any way that it creates detail.

Bandwidth isn’t the correct term, but I couldn’t find a way to describe the effect accurately because it’s a difference in how audio resolves even tho there’s no different in raw data terms.
