WMA files don't play from Google Drive

Issue description:

I have tried playing WMA files on Symfonium, and they play if located on my local device, but the same file located on Google Drive does not play. The Play symbol on the app has a constant rotating circle indicating it is trying to play, but it fails.

Symfonium has no problem playing other types of music file on Google Drive, e.g. mp3 or m4a.
Other apps such a VLC are able to play WMA files that are located on the Google Drive.
 

Reproduction steps:

 
Go to files on Google Drive
Find a Music Folder whose contents I want to play
Click on a music file, in this case a WMA file
See that Symfonium is constantly attempting to play the file but without success.
