When casting to Chromecast device, previous track button doesn't work

Issue description:

I see Symonium app shares “media controls” with Android while casting to Chromecast device (I use WiiM Pro) , as I see the song being played, and I can
play/pause, change volume, skip to next track - only the track back button doesn’t work and just pauses playback.

this feature is very useful, as WiiM Pro remote control can skip track, play/pause, change volume when casting to a CC through the app. but not change to previous track.
I double checked “previous button rewind first” option is disabled.

 

Reproduction steps:

 
Start casting to Chromecast device. playback is fine. skipping a track from “shared controls” is working fine. previous track button from shared control only stops playback.

I don’t know what you are clicking but it’s not the normal Android media session. The commands are not reaching the app you are directly controlling the Chromecast and I have 0 control in that case.

it’s called “shared controls” and it appears once there’s casting to a Chromecast device in Android.
i must mention Symfonium is the only app i found that streams “properly” to Chromecast device and thought maybe as the skip track does works properly, the previous track button could be fixable on the software side

Ok so no not an easy fix and no plans for that sorry.
