What is the best way to make sure new music shows up over SMB?

Issue description:

SMB generally works great. I have a network drive on my home network, and my phone is connected via Wireguard.

Generally, when I add new music to my SMB folder, it might take a little bit to show up, but is otherwise reliable. sometimes if it’s being stubborn I go in to settings and sync my media source and force stop the app, but sometimes it just spends a lot of time not recognizing the new media, and I’m not sure how to “force” symfonium to look again.

Today, it did work eventually but it was only after like half an hour of waiting and occasionally refreshing and looking again.

Additional information:

As I said, this problem sometimes happens, and sometimes takes a long time to resolve. It seems somewhat chaotic in nature.

Reproduction steps:

Have aymfonium set up with SMB

Upload music to SMB share folder

Open symfonium and search for the music after syncing and force closing.

Observed music not there

Media provider:

Samba

Screenshots:

It’s to press the sync button and see the progress.

Your logs are empty so I can’t say anything more.

Oh no! I uploaded logs according to the instructions, and I used the sync function many times before it worked. Is there a different way to upload the logs so you can see them?

You need to reproduce the issue when logs are enabled

So enable logs, reproduce then upload. You enabled logs then pressed upload.
