Issue description

Volume automatically goes to 40 when manually switching tracks (next/previous etc)

Or 60 if you disable DAC media button option

Also inline headphone buttons don’t work consistently.

1- Use USB Exclusive mode
2- Enable DAC Button option
3- Switch Track

Yes

The Buttons on my IEM (Volume Up and Down) they seem to work when app is open but when I lock the phone they stop working to increase or decrease the volume

Also even my phone volume buttons don’t work unless I open the app and press them

Same happens with Pause and Play button on the IEM esp when device is locked.

Even notification pause and play sometimes don’t work and have to open the app to Pause.

All of these issues exist iff one uses USB Exclusive

Else everything is fine for normal users

Can you upload a new log showing just that ?

2 logs:

  1. Exclusive + DAC button enabled, the buttons when screen on working, then screen off not working.

  2. Same but without DAC button enabled.

Was able to reproduce volume auto decrease in pause and play

Also button not working when phone is locked

But volume now working but not able to pause using iem button and also phone notification

@Tolriq Any update regarding this.

All things can be managed but volume is still dropping to 30 on every change of song be it automatic or manual next.

Try beta 3 and report back.

First impressions seems like all the volume issues have been fixed.

Edit : The button issues still persits (volume buttons don’t change symfonium volume in usb exclusive mode) Also pause and play buttons don’t function sometimes, have to force stop and clear cache then sometime works sometime doesn’t.

But came across a new bug

Play Something

Pause media

Remove USB

Media starts playing automatically again over phone speakers.

I uploaded logs with Koukunpoika tag. I updated yesterday to beta 3 and noticed the same volume drop bug. It only happens when manually changing to other tracks and always drops to 20 no matter what I had it set to.

You are not in beta 3 …

Oh sorry, thought I updated from beta 2 to 3. However now it’s updated and the same problem continues. Uploaded new logs with Koukunpoika tag.
