Volume buttons would not work

Issue description

In USB Exclusive Mode volume buttons (both phone and iem) would not work if not on symfonium interface or screen is off/locked.
Tried with both Enable/Disable Dac buttons option.

Media provider

Subsonic (Open)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Play something
  2. Lock phone or minimize symfonium
  3. Try changing volume using volume buttons

Additional information

I think voume buttons control media volume not usb volume.
Issue was mostly fixed in beta 6, but returned in beta 7.

Works fine on my Android 16 tab
Issue on Android 12 Phone

Also most of thr times media wouldn’t play have to force stop app and clear cache to make is work smoothly. (On both A16 Tab and A12 Phone)
Can be seen in logs too.

Added logs regarding media not playing normally untill i force stop and clear cache a couple of times.

Logs:- kage play

Also few times on playing for first time it starts playing at a low volume but no progress bar movement and circles around play button. (see screenshot for this)

No it’s supposed to be fixed in beta 8 and you are supposed to tell that or not and provide proper new logs :wink:

Volume buttons work when i am on the app, stops working in i put app in background.

If phone is locked it does not work.

Also sometimes volume is automatically decreasing even on pressing volume up button.

Thanks @Tolriq seems it has been fixed in beta 9.

Works as expected if i enable allow dac buttons options.
