Volume button not working when connected to Chromecast

Feature description:

When my Android Pixel 7a screen is locked and I’m casting to Chromecast, I can’t increase/decrease the volume until I unlock the screen. This behaviour doesn’t occur when connected to a BT speaker.

Problem solved:

Please enable the physical volume button to increase/decrease when screen is locked for Chromecast casting.

You either have disabled Media Session usage in the app or are using a beta QPR build that have this not working.

Edit and just tested QPR2 beta 1 and they fixed this.

Has this fix been released to the Play Store? I’m running v11.5.0 and have run into this problem, or something similar. When Chromecasting, the physical volume keys only work when I’m within the Symfonium app. When I’m not in the app, the volume keys adjust the ‘media’ volume, which has no effect on playback. I’m using a Samsung S20, Android 13.

There’s no FIX in the app it’s OS side fixes.
