Use Tasker to control Symfonium

https://tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/intents.html

I have the DB sync working in tasker, copied it over to a new task, and plugged the API info in, but it doesn’t work .

I really was looking for someone that had it working in tasker to see if I have something blatantly wrong, or if it’s something else.

Solved:
So, apparently the only thing that was wrong was adding an “L” to the Long_Parameter extra setting

Would it be difficult in the API call to:

Delete the playlist thumbnail, if no music is found?

No big deal if it’s problematic, just asking

No idea what you mean. And in all case this is a Tips and tricks not a support thread that now makes this harder to use by users.

Sorry, will move it now

I would love to get this setup but am brand new to tasker and have no clue what I’m doing  I installed it just for this, and when trying to add a task to match yours, I cant find the Cat of none. Do you have any quick pointers on how i could get this added?

I’m so surprised this isnt a default setting in symfonium, I expected there to be a setting I could change for how often it gets synced, but sounds like its a permissions thing? Either way, Im happy to pay for another app to do it, just need a little hand holding if possible. thanks so much

As far as I know, Symfonium now has an auto-sync available. I don’t know details how it works or how often it gets triggered but I disabled my custom Tasker sync and currently it seems fine to rely on Symfonium’s sync.

I wasn’t aware that it could autosync.

Does it refresh the dynamic playlists too?

Anyway, pretty happy with the way the api works with Tasker.
