Use-case validation before purchasing DAP - navidrome offline cache

Hello, I run navidrome server and I’m planning to buy and Android DAP to listen to my music.

I’m asking here before purchasing the DAP because I only have iOS devices and I’m not sure of the specific features of the app.

I’d like to use the app to have a complete cache of my navidrome (about 50GB) in an SD card and play offline.

I’d love to have my navidrome server side play count updated when the app comes back online.

Optional: I’d like to connect to my navidrome server using Tailscale vpn.

My understanding is that all those features are supported, but I’ve seen some folk reporting issues with SD caching and navidrome.

I’m planning to buy a hiby m300 that has 32GB of storage and 3GB or RAM. But if sd caching is a problem, I could get the 128GB (4GB RAM) edition for 40€ more.

Not aware of any issues with sdcards.
