I just watched the recent Android Show, I/O Edition 2026. In the video the mentioned higher quality audio coming to Android Auto. If this is an update that that will just work when Google pushed that update, or will the Symfonium need to update some API version for the audio side.
The other update is to screen layout, I’m guessing there will need to be some testing and possibly some ui updates to support those changes if AA wants to use a less common (new) side for the player’s area of the screen.
Yes I know it’s early, but figured starting the conversation early increases the chances of the app being ready when Google drops the public update. If set my old Pixel 8 Pro to be in AA and Symfonium beta programs, so I can test and provide feedback as the beta release arrive.
