Unable to update smart playlists with new media or old deleted media

Issue description:

Hi.
I have some smart playlists but their contents do not seem to update if I add media to the sourced folders or delete media from them. I have tried making new playlists but they still do not add new files or delete old ones. I have tried clearing cache both in the app and in my phone settings but it still doesn’t work. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Reproduction steps:

 

1. Add selected media into a folder, then allow the folder in the media providers in the app
2. Add media into a playlist
3. In the folder, add or delete media
   The media in the playlists is expected to update, but doesn’t even after clearing the cache

If you have not enabled automatic sync then you need to sync the provider so it update it’s data.

Sync media provider data

Symfonium tries to automatically sync your data when there’s changes, unfortunately not everything can be detected like metadata updates or playlist updates. You can force a sync for a media provider at any time. From the filter menu [image] Press the filter menu then press the Sync button for the provider you want to update. How do you enable automatic sync? I am having the same issue. With the Import Read-Only playlists (from Emby), they automatically update from the server w/o issue. But with the Smart Playlists using “Date Added within X Days”, for instance, these never update unless I force a media provider sync. Only after that, all of my smart playlists updated accordingly.
