Unable to Sideload Symfonium

Issue description:

I have a locked down Android phone I though I’d use a focus music player, IE no distracting apps. I wanted to use Symfonium (which I have payed for), but my only options for installing apps are APKs (due to the locked down nature of the phone). There doesn’t seem to be anywhere to get a Symfonium APK due to its sole release on the Play Store. Are there any possible workarounds? I have tried looking on sites such as Bullet and Mirror but they provide weird proprietary apk formats that will not do.

When I was using obtainium for most apps, I had good luck with Symfonium for Android - Download the APK from Uptodown , however they don’t update it very promptly. That said, you can message them at https://support.uptodown.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001244392 (hamburger menu→go to support page→hamburger menu→submit a request→general inquiry) with a new general request and they usually updated it within a few days.

Obtainium supports .xapk files, and so does App Manager | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

Btw, if you’re planning to use sideloaded apps on android, take a look at https://keepandroidopen.org/ it may not be possible for much longer on most stock versions of android
