Unable to go to any thing on the center of home screen

App version

Production

Issue description

Can’t access to any list on the center of home screen (“Continue track listening”, “Random tracks”, etc). I only can cycle through the side list (“Home”, “Playlists”, “Settings”, etc) using the box remote.

For everything else, including in the app, the remote works.

Device type

Android TV

Media provider

All

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open app

  2. Try to go to any list on the center of home screen (“Continue track listening”, “Random tracks”, etc). I only can cycle through the side list (“Home”, “Playlists”, “Settings”, etc).

3- When I press the remote button to the right, it goes straight to “Source filter” and “Cast” button.

4- The only way is to use a bluetooth mouse, or a virtual one (from atvTools, for example)

Additional information

  • I’m using a Xiaomi Mi Box S 2nd Gen with Android 14.

  • Forced close the app, uninstalled Symfonium, restarted the box and installed the app again.

  • Symfonium (14.0.0 TV) installed through the Play Store

Kurt: Can’t go to the lists on the center of the hme screen

Your probably updated from a non TV version. Reinstall fresh or be sure to apply the Android TV application style in the settings.

Like i said, i reinstalled through the Play Store on my certified Android TV box.

Regarding styles, what I did was to customise the home screen (what is shown) and a lot of the player/Now Playing.

Thanks

Well this is not on the Android TV skin for a reason. So remove them ?

You’re referring to “Settings - Interface style - change style”? I’m not at home at the moment, and on the phone I don’t see nothing regarding “Android TV style”.

Sorry if i’m confusing.

I also have Symfonium on a Mi Box S (previous generation) with Android 11, and I don’t have that issue. I can be wrong but I think at the time, I only went to “Now playing screens - Expanded player” and make changes to be like I want, exactly the same as on Mi Box S 2nd Gen. But, I have to confirm that.

I had the same issue, after restoring a backup of the phone version, so your best bet is just to pick a theme that is designed for Android TV, and customise it once you’ve confirmed it’s working
