Feature description:
My media provider is Kodi, and I have a lot of music in .flac format. I understand that Kodi cannot transcode before syncing to Symfonium. Would it be possible to perform the transcoding on the phone like it does for other media provider?
Problem solved:
Reduce the storage space used on the phone
Brought benefits:
Have more cached music available.

There’s never transcoding by the phone this takes way too much cou and battery.
Just migrate to Navidrome or LMS

On this page ( Supported features by media providers ) for Samba for example, it says
Transcoding is done on the phone as the server does not support transcoding,…
What is that about?
What are Navidrome and LMS? Other media providers?

They are other media providers and the transcoding is about unsupported media as the rest of the sentence says.
