Track scan on Jellyfin 12.1 hang after 125000 entries

Issue description

I tried to launch a sychronisation of the database connected to a newly upgraded jellyfin 12.1.
I as been worked fine and fast until 125000 entries, but after start to be very slow and finally failed at 131000 entries.

Open settings
Go to synchonisation manager
Click Sync
Wait until it failed.

Thanks for the log. I can reproduce the failure sequence from it: Jellyfin answers the earlier track pages, but the requests become much slower near 126,000 tracks. The page starting at 132,000 never answers before the timeout, even after retries, so Symfonium ends the sync. Your previous library appears to remain intact.

Could you check the Jellyfin server logs around the failed requests and confirm whether the scan was run on the Samsung tablet shown in the debug log? The report lists a phone. That would help distinguish a slow server query from another issue affecting this run.

Hello, I trying to found information on the jellyfin logs, but there is absolutely no entries about the scans. I need to check if I can change the verbosity level actually set to “Information” as minimum level.
It look that the symphonium library as been updated because some new albums are missing,

You’re right the logs I sent you are comming from a Galaxy Tab S11, but I did the same test on a Samsung A57 phone with exactly the same issue on the same track count.

The good news is that jellyfin 12 solve the scan performance issue came with version 11.

I changed the logs level to debug and relaunch a scan, I maybe found some errror linked to the scan. There it is.
