Feature description:
In my On Repeat smart playlist, I have a rule group where I set it to include any songs that have been played at least 5 times within the last 3 days. I also have an album playlist of the same name with a similar rule group. The problem comes where the playlist includes songs/albums based on their overall/total play time, rather than their play time within the time period. So instead of having a playlist made of songs/albums I’ve listened to heavily throughout the three day period, I’d end up having songs/albums with only 1 play in that time period. That ends up being horribly annoying especially because I have a playlist for songs that I haven’t listened to before and if I listen to that, those songs would end up populating the on repeat playlist, even though I’d only listened to them once. So I’d like a refinement for this rule to only populate the playlist with songs/albums that have been played for the minimum set play count within the set period of time.
Problem solved:
It solves a glaring smart playlist play count and period issue.
Brought benefits:
It would allow users to better fine-tune their smart playlists.
Other application solutions:
Screenshot 1 shows my smart playlist rules and screenshot 2 shows that the first 3 songs in the playlist were songs I had only listened to once in the set 3 day period.
