The now playing screen doesn't reflect the real resolution

App version

Beta

Issue description

I downgraded the song in the screenshot from 192Khz to 44,1Khz

The song was transfered to the internal storage of the phone and it overwrote the previous file.

I scanned the library to reflect the change, however, when playing the song, the now playing screen still shows the song as a 192Khz one.

The string # 6 is the one that shows the information, I selected the “Codec and bitrate/quality” option which is already available in the app to display this information.

I imagine that other songs that were previously upgraded or downgraded to a different resolution are not being reflected correctly but I don’t remember at the moment which ones were replaced.

A log was uploaded while playing the song.

I suspect the old media information is still cached after the file was overwritten at the same location. Please use Settings → Advanced → Clear media info cache, then fully restart Symfonium and play the track again.

Please also check that you’re using the latest published version available for your channel. Read the appropriate announcement in the release notes and APK instructions; if Google Play has not approved that release yet, the announcement explains how to get the official APK.

If it still shows 192 kHz, please send me fresh debug logs. Enable debug mode before repeating the replacement, library scan and playback, then disable it and upload promptly. Include your exact app version, upload description and reproduction time so I can check the complete sequence.

Hello @Tolriq

Clearing the media info cache worked but I never expected to do that additional step to fix it since scanning the media should do it automatically.

I’m using the latest beta 15.1.0.

Thank you for your assistance.
