The homepage is stuck in the "preparing sync" step

Issue description:

After adding the Emby media source, when I return to the homepage to sync, it remains in the “preparing sync” step. This Emby media source contains both music and videos. I can sync normally using other apps.

No other app does sync :slight_smile:

Anyway that server have a lot lot of collections and due to Emby api limit I need to query each one of them to find the one related to music.
And since your server is relatively slow this part take ages.

Do you think you can provide me an access to your server in PM so I can try to see if there’s another way to filter the non music collections?

The puremusic I downloaded from the Google Play Store can sync normally. I currently cannot provide access to the server.

You can’t compare oranges and apples (but nice to see a “competitor” ads and subscriptions … , they do not support collections so they don’t sync them so don’t face this :wink:

I’ve asked Emby devs if there’s a solution to this, let’s hope they answer or provide something.

In all cases I’ll add an option to disable sync of collections, would speed up the sync for people not using them.
