Symfonium waking up and playing music uninitiated

App version

Production

Issue description

Hello Symfonium Support Team,
I have recently purchased the full license for Symfonium and have been enjoying the interface and features. I am currently using the app to stream music to a Yamaha receiver via UPnP. However, I am encountering a few persistent technical issues that I am hoping you can help me resolve:

  1. UPnP Connection and Receiver Initialization
The app successfully triggers the Yamaha receiver to turn on when playback begins. However, the connection frequently fails to initialize properly on the first attempt. When I press play, the icon briefly changes to “pause” and then immediately reverts to the play button without producing audio. Currently, the only workaround is to manually power the receiver off and back on again to establish a stable handshake.

  2. Unintended Playback Triggers During Notifications
The player frequently resumes music playback automatically whenever my phone receives a notification, call or an audio message ( like gmail, or WhatsApp). This is particularly disruptive during the night, as incoming messages will trigger the receiver to wake up and play music at unexpected times.
would appreciate any guidance on settings or logs I can provide to help troubleshoot these behaviors.

  3. When the tv connected to the receiver via eARC HDMI is turned on, rather than speakers sounding the tv, it too somehow triggers the symfonium to start playing music instead. TV video plays but sound is absent and replaced with the music from the phone instead (where the symfonium is installed)

  1. If only a receiver reboot fix not much I can do, there’s nothing special in the logs.

For the rest some devices does that automatically when symfonium request the status. You need to stop casting to avoid those.
