Hello, I finally set up my definitive interface, but I noticed that for wavpack and ape format it doesn’t read the bitrate.
This is a screen for ape:
This is for wavpack:
But for both, in the topside info, you can see that the bitrate doesn’t appear, even if it exists (following the details of the wavpack song above):
This does not happen for pure flac format as you can see in the following (the bitrate is the last value):
How this strange issue could be solved?
Taken from your own pics, see this dot at the end?
It’s the same as this one.
The info is there, it just doesn’t fit.
The text just doesn’t fit in the box. In the NPS settings you need to change the string’s “text ellipsis ” setting to Marquee if you want it to scroll when it doesn’t fit.
Alternatively, you can reduce the “horizontal margin” for your Top Bar to make it wider, so that you have room for more text.
First of all thank you for the suggestions.
I tried to do all you said: I reduced the horizontal margin till 0, I tried to fullfill the top bar e set to marquee the text ellipsis, but I still get the following:
Maybe since for the other lossless file that they are not flac or wav it visualizes APE → FLAC or WavPack → FLAC it has not enough space?
Why not just write APE or WavPack for these audio formats?
It definitely looks like there should be enough room now. I guess you found an actual bug! Congrats
You should make a post in Support for this so that it can get fixed.
Actually, before I send you off to Support…
Is this a custom string you are using? Or is it one of the default string options?
(If it’s custom, please paste it in a reply so I can troubleshoot it for you.)
Yes, it’s a custom sring:
{%|format+=“mp3”||format+=“opus”||format+=“aac”||format+=“vorbis”% %format.codec% • %format.samplerate% • %format.bitrate%} {%|format+=“flac”||format+=“wav”% %format.codec% • %format.samplerate%/%format.bitdepth% bit • %format.bitrate%}
Yeah the string seems fine to me. I don’t have any files in that format to check either.
At this point, you should open an issue and let the dev look at it.
