Support regarding the latest Jellyfin update 10.11.0

Issue description:

Hello,
I would like some support / information in the regards to getting jellyfin connection working again.

I have provided logs regarding syncing failing with my jellyfin server.

I have also noticed that on the Jellyfin GitHub the current full update 10.11.0 broke a tone of stuff. So I do not know if it would be worth your time or not to work on getting it to work. As my future thinking is that the Jellyfin devs may walk this update back if possible.

I just wanted to provide logs from my issue to help you to potentially find a solution.

Logs:

Upload description: This is the debug log for “Shadow-Blitz” I also have uploaded a log via the built-in log uploader in symphonium for the same username.

Additional information:

As said in an earlier form. I do not know if the Jellyfin devs are going to try or be able to walk back this update. As this update has caused a tone of bugs.

I have provided my logs to help you fix it.

Also I wish there was a way I could donate more than the $15.99 in the app, as I would like to donate $50(AUD).
I guess I can spread it over the course of the next few days.

Reproduction steps:

Connect to a jellyfin server that has a moderate sized library, the Jellyfin server has to be running update 10.11.0

Go to sync it.

Symphonium will grind to a halt partially through the process and stop for a long while. Then error out.

Media provider:

Jellyfin

Nearly all artists have duplicated IDs and they still wont fix that …

Anyway the issue is that the query to get the songs timeout need to check Jellyfin logs and see what they broke.

Hello Tolriq, I have the logs from my jellyfin server, but due to privacy concerns, is there a better way that I can upload them to you so that they are not publicly visible to everyone?

There’s nothing I can do from those here, you need to see with them what they broke.

Oh, Ok. I apologise for the confusion. I have already noticed that the Jellyfin devs have their hands full with this botched update.

in the meantime I have a different question. I have backed up my theme that I have created while troubleshooting the Jellyfin issue on my phone today. I was wondering is there a way I can restore the theme, while retaining my donation badge. As currently, all the settings and stuff I backed up before donating, I had uninstalled the app to trial getting Jellyfin to work. Then created the logs for my log report on Symphonium, then (before I have restored my theme and settings) I donated to the project. Do you think it would be safe to restore my settings and other stuff on that file and that I’ll still retain my badge?

if worse comes to worse, I can restore that backed up theme on my android tablet and go through each setting manually setting them on my phone again.

All in all, thank you for your time and effort in developing this app, it is such an awsome app and it is such a shame that the Jellyfin devs had to break it. I do have a SMB share setup to the directory that my jellyfin media is stored at and a secure networking setup to maintain connection while remote, it is not pretty or enjoyable to use, but it still works.

I am also thinking about temporally setting up an OpenSubsonic instance for the time being that Jellyfin is broke.

Thank you again for this awsome app. Your time and efforts are apreciated.

Create a new full backup. Restore the old one. Only export the theme. Then restore first then import theme.

Success! Thank you so much. you can close this thread. I am all good now. Thank you. (theme)
