Support for Navidrome Share Integration

Feature description:

I would love to see support for Navidrome Share integration in Symphonium. Navidrome allows users to generate shareable links for their media, which can be useful for easily accessing and sharing specific content. Having this functionality in Symphonium would make it even more convenient to interact with Navidrome’s library.

If this feature is added, it would be great to have an easy way to access and use these shared links directly within the app.

Brought benefits:

  • Enhances interoperability between Navidrome and Symphonium.
  • Provides users with a seamless way to access shared media.
  • Improves usability for those who frequently share music within their ecosystem.

I understand that every request must align with the app’s scope, but I believe this addition would be beneficial for many users. Thank you for considering it!

I was about creating the same feature request… I use Ultrasonic just to create this shared songs and send messages with the links directly in WhatsApp.. Miss this a lot in Symfonium.

Doesn’t look like it’ll get implemented. I submitted the same feature request today and it was set to ‘duplicate’. Not feeling too hopeful here

Love the app, but after using another like Tempus just to test features out, not sure if I’ll be using Symfonium long term. Will have to wait and see

Hey @Tolriq this feature would be super nice to enjoy music with friends. I love symfonium and I would like to stay in the app to use this feature and not break the experience.

I mean I can always go to the navidrome native webpage and create a link, but would be so much nicer to do it from the app :slight_smile:

I’m also waiting for this feature.

I installed another app to generate links just for this reason, but it’s annoying having to switch apps and search for the song just to generate the share URL.

Even if not all servers have this feature enabled, it could achived by adding a toggle in the media provider settings page to enable this functionality and indicating that I should be enabled in the server. This is how the app I’m using is doing it (not mentioning the name of the app in case it could be considered spam) .

Hope this gets implemented sooner rather than later.

This is the one feature that’s missing for me. I’m trying to switch from spotify rn and i’ve managed to switch almost, except that this one feature won’t work at all. The share button is there, but I dont want it to just share the name and end of.

I would also really like to have this feature. Just commenting to keep the thread alive. It’s the one missing feature for an otherwise fantastic app.
