Well yes since I need to try to reproduce your issue.
Can you provide some guidance on how I extract the settings for you?
- Do you want a screen shot?
- is there some built in functionality to provide it?
- Do you want me to textually type out the settings etc?
I am happy to provide whatever you want but can you please be a bit more specific on what/how you want certain things as so far you have often asked for something but not been specific enough for me to understand, then got annoyed when I have not done exactly what you have expected.
Everything is documented actually, it’s hard to have to copy paste already written things when the price of the app can’t really cover one to one support.
For the upload for example, the fact that you can’t upload some extension should have been an indicator that you are not using the proper thing and so that trying to circumvent a limitation would of course annoy the person that put the limitation in place.
You can export settings via the backup system in Backup & restore from the settings.

There is no ambiguity and we would both know expectations then. I get you may be jaded from lots of people coming wasting your time but you are actively sabotaging me and yourself with the way you have gone about the interactions on this thread.
Anyway I have used the upload system at the link provided, it didnt give me a link or id etc so all I can tell you is that the file was named symfonium-backup-20251025_115127.symfbkpz and the description contains the password.
Unfortunately I cannot remember exact setup as it was months ago when I set it all up, but ultimately I would have setup the subsonic provider (my navidrome instance) with “automatic media offline cache” enabled and then I think if something new was added I to the server I would do:
- Go to the provider and “Sync”
- Go to “Manage Offline Files” > “Download Queue”
- Select something like “Download All”
- Wait for download queue to be empty
At this point I assume everything is available offline and I just pick a track to play via the home page of the app or by going into the library and pick via genre, or im some cases I have some playlists for reading or whatever that I may click on, but to my knowledge I am not doing anything unusual there, just selecting music to play.

The app have 100k users /, imagine loosing 30 seconds each time they contact me to repeat what’s already written when they create the issue.
Then it’s all I do and can’t do support or update the app.
So no actually by answering fast I avoid loosing time to actually work on the app and the issue.
About the issue you said the app plays from the server, logs said otherwise. And I had to ask again details, you did not answer until deluan posted. I again asked for the details.
So in the end from my POV I’m not the one making this longer and harder than it needs to be…
Anyway I got the settings will try to repro.
You lost more than 30 seconds playing post tennis telling me I was not doing what you requested without clearly telling me where docs/info lived, not everyone knows you have a wiki or that this documentation exists, you could have just told me early on to “look in the wiki” which probably would have been enough, but you kept giving passive aggressive ambiguous short responses which didn’t really correct my mistakes, just indicated I was not doing what you had asked, you did not actually correct me, just let me do more things you didn’t want.
Also while I do appreciate you taking time to look at this for me, its not like I have not put any effort into investigating/assisting with this issue myself (it may not actually be an issue), so please stop making out like I am some inept user wasting your time, I have tried to provide everything you asked for multiple times in multiple ways and have asked for clarification whenever possible, I have remained polite and patient I just ask that you do the same.
I am polite and always was, what you take as non polite was the … when asking you again to upload logs and not paste. And you did paste without even having searched before what uploading meant …
You then proceed to do the wrong thing before I had time to tell you the proper system, and despite that, I just pointed the link and said thanks …
And again when you open the issue the wizard explains all those things, you just forget because you vanished for 20 days.
So please let’s move on, you won’t change my mind on this one, read again how it went from the start and maybe envisage the other side.
Anyway I was able to reproduce, a small race that can sometimes happen once per file.
Oh good that you have found something, also just to clarify I didn’t vanish for 20 days, I was on here every day looking for responses, I just didn’t want to rush Deluan to respond as I know everyone’s busy, after a certain point I felt I had been patient enough and jump started the thread.
