Strange behaviour from landscape to portrait view when reproducing a song

Issue description

As per title, I start to hear a song in portrait mode and I see the player regularly as you can see in the first screenshot.
Then I switch in landscape mode if I rotate the phone, again here all regular as you can see in the second screenshot.

Well, I get the noisy behaviour when I come back to portrait mode, where a left bar with menu buttons suddenly appears, as you can see in the third screenshot.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run a song on Player in portrait mode
  2. Change in landscape mode
  3. Come back in portrait mode.

That is not normal behavior, it definitely doesn’t happen for me.

I assume you don’t have any apps like Tasker that are changing your App Style? There’s no other way for the Navigation Style/Entries to suddenly change that I know of.

You may want to send an actual bug report in the Support section. The Discussion section is mainly user-driven and there’s not much we can tell you other than “Mine don’t do that” :laughing:

Anyway I solved going into Settings → Advanced settings → Screen orientation and set Portrait instead of System default
