Stop Android Auto from playing automatically

Issue description:

I use Symfonium in Android Auto to play songs from my Dropbox. It works well. Now, when I finish my drive, I am careful to pause the song that is playing. When I next return to the car and start it, as soon as Android Auto connects, it starts playing the last song. Is there any way to disable that?

I have all the “Automatic Actions” set to “off”.

1. Disable “Start music automatically” in the Android Auto app

  1. Open the Android Auto app on your phone.
  2. Tap the Settings (:gear:) icon.
  3. Under Startup, toggle Start music automatically off.

:small_blue_diamond: On some versions this may be labelled Resume media playback—just switch it off.

Yes, that was already set. It has no effect.

Then complain to Google ? The app receive a play command it plays, it can’t know that it’s Android Auto and you don’t want that.
