I would love it if there was also an option to filter out albums with only a few tracks in the recently added albums on the home/start page, as there is on the albums page.
Problem solved:
If I only add a single track to the database - which happens very often - it is incorrectly displayed that I have added an entire album. This is misleading.
Brought benefits:
If someone adds individual tracks to the database, it is not incorrectly displayed that entire albums have been added. The display (newly added albums) would then also be correct in terms of content.
Can you please explain this?
For example, I have the album “Thriller” by Michael Jackson in my music collection (Thriller is an ALBUM by Micheal Jackson), but I only want to add the track “Billie Jean” to my Symfonium player. Either individually or in a playlist.
What can I do so that Symfonium does not tell me that I have recently added the whole album? thx.
As far as I know, Smart Playlists only show lists of individual tracks, but not single album names or album covers.
Instead of an overview of five album covers, I would have a list of 50 tracks (with ten tracks per album). Or? Is that what you mean?
Yes, thank you, with album smart playlist you can filter out albums with only one or a few tracks. However, this also works in the standard album view with the standard filter function (filter out album with only few tracks) there.
That brings us back to the actual topic.
Couldn’t this useful filter function be integrated on the start page and for newly added albums? That would be great.
Suggestion: How about transferring (retaining) the filter settings from the standard album view to the album view on the start page? thx
Yes, I know, it’s probably more about my understanding than reading.
I interpreted “pin it” as “save as favorite”.
I didn’t know that this pin to startpage function existed until now.
I can understand your frustration. It’s certainly hard when you know things by heart yourself and then get asked supposedly stupid questions by such non-observers.
Sorry!
Thanks but was not needed, I just like to remind people that there’s docs for everything and that I can’t provide one to one doc reading help for a low cost single time purchase.
