When trying to resume a playlist after a bluetooth connection, Symfonium starts trying to play the song but the play button is just an endless spinning circle. I tried pausing and playing, skipping to the next track and then back again, disconnecting and reconnecting to the bluetooth device. The only way I was able to make it play was force-killing the app and restarting it, then it resumed immediately.
Yes, I only uploaded the final portion where the issue occured. Did you want me to upload the full 1.2GB? Last time i had 300mb and you wouldn’t look at it.
I’m sorry I was supposed to guess that the logs uploaded 10 days ago for a completely unrelated issue was containing this issue opened 10 days later ? …
There’s 99.99% chance that no it’s not so why would I lose more time trying to guess things ?
You report an issue with logs I give the reason.
If it was not supposed to play from server then open another issue with the proper logs.
I don’t know what you’re even talking about. Those previously uploaded logs have nothing to do with this issue.
If you ever wonder why you get so many of those 1 star reviews you complain about in the “joy of Play Store” thread, this is why. You consistently refuse to actually help, give the shortest non-answers possible, and often don’t even acknowledge that bugs are bugs.
The log I uploaded for THIS issue contains everything starting a few moments before the bluetooth device was connected and playback should have started, up until I force-killed the app, restarted it, and playback finally began as expected. I didn’t upload the whole thing to begin with because when I had a log for a previous issue that was 300mb and explained the exact issue with EXACT timestamps, you refused to even look at it. And you constantly ask for logs showing only a reprodution of the problem. That’s what I gave you. If you want the full 1.2GB containing several days of logging before this problem, I’ll give it to you.
Was I supoposed to know that the app was trying to connect to the server to play locally cached music? How would I have known that? The app never gave me an error message, just sat there doing nothing.
I’m sorry do you pay a monthly fee for premium support? Do you think it’s a game and I have nothing better to do on the week end (or the week) than reading GB of logs trying to find a needle because the user can’t give the proper proper and details?
You report an issue, I read the logs, I give the reason. What more do you want ? You have an app and monthly updates for a single 5$ and still complain that I don’t loose time for no reasons for people who don’t really have any consideration for my time ?
The app tries multiple times with long timeouts to connect on network issues so yes it would have given an error after a long time of trying and retrying.
And you know that it did because I’ve just told you … Each time you do not read and each time it’s complicated with you, I’ve learnt my lessons and gain time.
And for the other issue First upload you said I don’t know when, for the second one Uploaded another log today, unfortunately it only contains the resume event from this morning and not the point where the playback was stopped yesterday. so sorry to again hurt your feeling but NO YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED THE EXACT TIME STAMP OF ANYTHING …
Once again, you make incorrect assumptions. The logs I was talking about that were 300mb and you didn’t look at were NOT the recent ones you’re talking about here. Scroll up in that thread to April 10th, and you will see where I had a 300mb log, and gave you EXACT timestamps and even exact LINES from your own log. You still refused to look at it.
No, I’m not paying a subscription for support. I’m not asking for help in how to use the app, that’s support. These are bugs. And yes, a spinning circle for several minutes with no feedback IS a bug, even if you refuse to acknowledge it. Trying to contact the server in your supposedly offline-first application to play locally cached files IS a bug, even if you refuse to acknowledge it.
And again trying to make me loose my time instead of actually providing what’s necessary …
No it’s not a bug that it tries multiple times with 30 seconds timeout to connect to the server when it’s actually playing something because you could be on the road or phone in pocket and just want the music to resume when the network comes back …
You opened an issue, I provided the fucking answer, despite you again not reading The spinning circle was normal Symfonium was trying to connect to the server and could not …
You are now telling me that it was not supposed to play from server, as you can guess IF YOU HAD read what I wrote this is a DIFFERENT ISSUE … And I’ve just asked you to open a proper issue about this different issue.
So again you do not read and again you are projecting because I clearly said OPEN AN ISSUE and you say that I refuse to acknowledge.
This is fucking ridiculous and in the perfect continuity of the previous issues …
So either open the proper other issue or stop making me loose my time.
